Is Pluvicto® a form of chemotherapy?

No. Pluvicto is a radiopharmaceutical therapy, not chemotherapy. It uses targeted radiation to attack cancer cells that express PSMA, while leaving most healthy tissue untouched. This often results in fewer side effects than traditional treatments.
Most patients tolerate Pluvicto well. Common side effects can include fatigue, dry mouth, mild nausea, or decreased appetite. Our care team monitors you closely to keep you safe and comfortable throughout your treatment.
